Michael R. Libor is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice with a focus on complex construction law, product liability, and insurance recovery. He has published and spoken extensively on various construction-related legal topics for industry, professional, and legal societies.

With respect to his construction practice, Mr. Libor has advised and represented a variety of construction entities in an array of construction projects and claims throughout the world. He routinely prepares and negotiates sophisticated contracts on behalf of owners, contractors, and subcontractors for major industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

Mr. Libor has represented parties in multimillion-dollar claims in numerous federal and state trials (bench and jury), arbitrations, and mediations throughout the nation. These have included claims of design or construction defects in various fields, late or delayed performance, catastrophic failures, mechanics' liens, construction and bid bonds, and product failures. Representative projects and disputes have concerned power projects, school buildings, refineries, pre-engineered steel buildings, office buildings, cogeneration and other energy producing facilities, numerous industrial facilities, and heavy civil projects. Mr. Libor also has litigated and tried numerous other cases involving indoor air quality, product failures, insurance recovery, asbestos, and other hazardous materials, and other commercial and contract claims.

Before practicing law, Mr. Libor was a systems accountant for Honeywell, Inc.

Mr. Libor is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before many federal district and circuit courts.
