Michelle A. Westcoat is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Westcoat served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Stuart Rabner of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Ms. Westcoat received her J.D., with high honors, from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden in 2008, where she was an executive editor for the Rutgers Law Journal and served as president of the Association for Public Interest Law. Ms. Westcoat also served as a Marshall-Brennan fellow and was the recipient of the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award, awarded to the law school graduate who best represented a combination of scholarship and leadership; the Mary Philbrook Award, for exceptional contributions to the public interest; and the Pro Bono Publico Award, for significant pro bono service. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in sociology from Messiah College in 2002.
