Miranda Lindl O'Connell is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Ms. Lindl O'Connell's practice includes finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and the structuring, formation, governance of, and investment in domestic and international private investment funds. She also provides legal representation in general corporate and securities matters. The clients in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Ms. Lindl O'Connell received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2008. While in law school, she participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, acted as lead notes editor for the Hastings Women's Law Journal, and worked in the San Francisco Superior Court's ACCESS Clinic. In addition, she externed for Judge John T. Noonan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Constitutional Law and Appellate Advocacy. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and international relations from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1999.
Ms. Lindl O'Connell received the A.B.A. Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award for her work at the Homeless Advocacy Project.
