James W. Jennings serves as counsel in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management and Securities Industry Practice. He was a partner of the firm from 1970 to 2002.
Mr. Jennings advises clients on a wide range of securities and corporate law matters, including public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Jennings has experience advising broker-dealers, investment companies and investment advisers, and has worked with banks and other financial institutions in structuring compliance with federal and state securities laws. He advises boards of directors on their duties under federal and state law, and also has project finance experience. Over the years, he has lectured extensively on federal and state securities matters, and has been active as an arbitrator with the National Association of Securities Dealers and the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Jennings is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
