Steven P. Johnson

Steven P. Johnson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Tax Practice. Mr. Johnson focuses his practice on tax controversy and litigation, including the representation of clients in a variety of complex tax matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Johnson served as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division. He also served as a law clerk to Judge Tucker L. Melancon of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

Mr. Johnson earned his LL.M. in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2010 and his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School in 2005. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002.

Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Louisiana.
