Lexer I. Quamie is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and partners recognized for professional excellence in The Best Lawyers in America.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Quamie served as a law clerk to Judge James R. Spencer, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Ms. Quamie received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005. While there, she served as a production editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and as a member of the National Moot Court team. In 2005, she was awarded the Henry Meacham award for excellence in public service. Ms. Quamie received her A.B., cum laude, in government from Harvard University in 2000. She is fluent in French and English.
Ms. Quamie is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
