V. Thomas Meador III is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Meador has been handling mass toxic tort cases, product liability, and environmental litigation as lead trial counsel for more than 20 years. He has defended cases involving manufacturers of a variety of products and chemicals, including benzene, lead, petroleum products, chromium, chlorinated solvents, pesticides, mold, and arsenic. His experience includes litigating mass toxic tort cases where thousands of plaintiffs are claiming personal injury and property damage allegedly as a result of air, soil, and groundwater contamination.

Mr. Meador is currently the lead trial attorney for one of the defendants in the consolidated Lockheed mass toxic litigation. He has participated in numerous Daubert and Kelly-Frye pretrial hearings resulting in the dismissal of thousands of plaintiffs. He has also successfully defended other personal injury and property damage claims on the grounds the claims were barred by the statute of limitations, no causation, and that the damages were too speculative.

Mr. Meador is admitted to practice in California.
