Peter Edward Halle is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Antitrust Practice. Mr. Halle’s practice focuses on treble damage antitrust litigation. This practice includes extensive experience in communications, chemicals, vitamins, high tech products, white collar crime, healthcare and trade associations. Mr. Halle also provides advice on mergers and acquisitions; represents clients in class actions; represents companies in state and federal criminal antitrust matters; and handles false advertising claims before the Federal Trade Commission. Mr. Halle is also experienced in representing companies in antitrust cases at the Federal appellate level.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Halle was hired under the Attorney General's Program for Honor Law Graduates and served as a trial attorney with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice until 1980, when he became the assistant chief of the Antitrust Division's Trial Section. He also served as a special assistant in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General. At the Justice Department, he handled both civil and criminal (white collar) litigation. During his tenure in the Antitrust Division, he was active in antitrust matters in the telecommunications area, including service on the team that brought the AT&T case. He also was lead counsel on the first criminal case to bring maximum corporate penalties after the Sherman Act became a felony. He serves as co-chair of the Washington Office ProBono Practice committee.

Mr. Halle is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
