John C. Funderburk is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Funderburk concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, accident investigations, and transportation litigation. He represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Funderburk has represented individuals and corporations in contract disputes, maritime actions, personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, deceptive trade practices claims, and oilfield contamination litigation. In addition, he coordinates with clients and experts to respond quickly to accidents around the country, helping clients preserve and quickly assess the evidence, often leading to prompt and favorable resolution of claims. He has represented clients across a range of industries, including energy, shipping, technology, and manufacturing.

Before joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Funderburk was an associate in the litigation department of an international law firm.

Mr. Funderburk received his J.D. and B.C.L. (Bachelor of Civil Law) from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2005, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He received his B.A. in history from Spring Hill College in 1999.

Mr. Funderburk is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
