Ann K. Batlle is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Tax Practice. Ms. Batlle's practice focuses primarily on advising public charities, private foundations, museums, colleges and universities and other tax-exempt organizations on a variety of matters, including exemption issues, unrelated business income tax, executive compensation, corporate governance, charitable giving, lobbying and IRS audits.
Ms. Batlle regularly speaks at conferences for tax-exempt organizations. Recent topics have included applying for exemption at the “Representing and Managing Tax-Exempt Organizations,” sponsored by the Georgetown University Law Center, and unrelated business income tax issues for museums at the American Association of Museums’ annual conference.
In the ABA Section of Taxation, Ms. Batlle currently serves as Co-Chair of the New and Young Members Sub-Committee of the Exempt Organizations Committee. She is also a member of the Washington Office’s Professional Development Committee.
Ms. Batlle is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
