Margot G. Bloom is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Bloom focuses her practice on disputes concerning mergers and acquisitions, including commercial contracts and indemnification issues, as well as securities litigation. She has represented chemical manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, securities broker-dealers, former brokers, and other broker-dealers, and has defended numerous publicly held companies and their directors in shareholders' class and derivative actions. Her practice encompasses a broad range of litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Bloom was an associate at a prominent nationwide firm.

Ms. Bloom earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004, where she was named to the Order of the Coif. She graduated third in her class and received various honors and awards for her academic achievements. While attending law school, Ms. Bloom was an associate editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. During the summer of 2002, she served as a judicial intern to Judge Joseph McLaughlin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Bloom earned her B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, with a concentration in organizational studies from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Bloom is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
