Nathan W. McCutcheon is a partner and Deputy Practice Leader in Morgan Lewis's Patent Practice. He is co-resident in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Mr. McCutcheon practices in the areas of patent litigation and pre-litigation patent counseling, with a background both in the enforcement of patents and defense against claims of patent infringement. Mr. McCutcheon has more than 15 years of experience in discovery, motions practice, claim construction hearings, fact and expert depositions, and trial work, for both national and international clients. He has particular technical knowledge and experience in the areas of semiconductor design and manufacturing, liquid crystal display technology, computer architecture, medical devices, and business methods.

Some of his significant cases include LifeNet Health v. MTF, U.S. Dist. Ct. for E.D. Va. ($23 million)(2007) and L.G.Philips LCD Co. v. Chunghwa Picture Tubes, U.S. Dist. Ct. for C.D. Cal. ($53.5 million)(2006).
