Timothy P. O'Reilly is a counsel in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. O'Reilly's practice focuses on all facets of employment law with a particular emphasis on management labor relations matters. In that area, he has represented private and public sector employers in a variety of matters, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements, arbitrating disputes, providing contract administration advice, National Labor Relations Board proceedings, and coordinating union avoidance campaigns.
Mr. O'Reilly advises clients with respect to the application of the WARN Act to departmental and plant shutdowns and reductions in force, as well as mass layoff situations. He has frequently lectured on collective bargaining and grievance administration at Temple University School of Law.
Mr. O'Reilly also has experience with public employment relations’ law, arbitration, pensions and health funds, wage and hour law issues, and sports law matters. He has represented and continues to represent clients in a variety of fields, including manufacturing, food industry, paper and corrugated box industries, government, trucking, warehousing, specialty schools, and professional football.
From 2004 through 2008, Mr. O'Reilly was named one of the leading U.S. lawyers for labor and employment law by Chambers USA, based on the views of clients, peers, and other industry professionals. Chambers highlighted Mr. O'Reilly's "reputation of being strong and knowledgeable in all labor and union-related matters."
