Shawn M. Kennedy is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Kennedy focuses his practice on complex business disputes, including securities litigation and enforcement proceedings, professional liability actions, false advertising and consumer class actions, antitrust disputes, and white collar criminal actions.

Mr. Kennedy has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, and has firstchaired trials in state and federal court. He has litigated on behalf of clients in the financial, legal, accounting, beverage, energy, and automotive industries. Mr. Kennedy has represented corporations and individuals in connection with investigations and enforcement proceedings by the SEC, the U.S. Attorney's Office, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). 

Mr. Kennedy earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2001, where he served as an extern to Judge Marcia Crone, now a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. He earned his B.A. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1998.

Mr. Kennedy is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
