Esther K. Ro

Associate

Esther K. Ro is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Ro served as a fellow with the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Recovery at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, where she assisted homeowners who were victims of loan modification scams. Prior to that, Ms. Ro was an associate in the Los Angeles office of an international law firm, where she focused on general commercial litigation, with a concentration on products liability and toxic tort defense.

Ms. Ro received a J.D., with a specialization on critical race studies, from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2007, where she served as the chief articles editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal. While in law school, Ms. Ro was a law clerk at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, where she focused on issues surrounding national origin discrimination. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ro worked as an investment analyst at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity fund of funds. Ms. Ro earned her B.A., with highest honors, in political science and Asian American studies from Stanford University in 2000. She is conversational in Korean.

Ms. Ro is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Central Districts of California.
