Harry A. Rissetto is senior counsel for Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Rissetto served as a partner with the firm for 35 years, from 1975 to 2006. His nationwide practice focuses on all aspects of labor law on behalf of management, including companies and associations in the airline, railroad and trucking industries. His background includes matters involving the Railway Labor Act, employment discrimination litigation, appellate advocacy and public employer labor relations.
A frequent lecturer and writer on labor law matters, Mr. Rissetto has addressed ALI-ABA Airline and Railroad Labor Law seminars and presented "The New Frontier: Airline Labor Relations in the Global Era" at a seminar sponsored by the National Mediation Board. He was the 2004 recipient of the Burton Award for Legal Achievement for his article, "Airline Bankruptcy and the Rejection of Labor Contracts," published in the ABA Public Utility, Communications and Transportation Law Annual Report.
Mr. Rissetto served as an adjunct professor of Labor Law at Georgetown University Law Center. He served as a law clerk to Judge John J. Sirica and Chief Justice Warren E. Burger before joining the firm in 1970.
Mr. Rissetto is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
