Denise E. Smith is an associate in Morgan Lewis' Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Smith worked for the Harris County District Attorney's Office in the Family Criminal Law Division.

Ms. Smith earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2010, where she was a member of the winning negotiation team at the American Bar Association Regional Championship and a member of a negotiation team that competed at the American Bar Association National Championship. She was also part of a brief team that competed in the Vis Moot, an international arbitration competition. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Smith was an information technology consultant whose clients included a major computer manufacturer, a mortgage lending agency, and a governmental mortgage agency. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in history from the University of Houston in 2007, where she was the recipient of the Provost's Undergraduate Research Scholarship.
