James E. DelBello is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. DelBello's practice focuses on a variety of complex litigation matters with an emphasis on healthcare, technology, insurance, and product liability issues.

Representative matters handled by Mr. DelBello include the defense of a healthcare insurer in nationwide class actions involving the reimbursement of out-of-network benefits. He has defended an international software company in cases involving the licensing, functionality, and implementation of enterprise software. Mr. DelBello has handled a wide variety of insurance and reinsurance recovery matters, including claims for direct access to reinsurance. He also has handled numerous business and tort cases for plaintiffs and defendants, including matters involving asbestos exposure, blood derivative products, medical devices, toxic torts, and major nursing home accidents.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. DelBello served as a law clerk to President Judge Steven J. McEwen, Jr. of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1996 and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.

Mr. DelBello is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
