Rebecca L. Roman is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax.  Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Ms. Roman represents leading financial institutions and corporate borrowers in a broad range of commercial finance transactions, including asset-based and cash-flow loans, secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financing, mezzanine and subordinated debt financings, and loan syndications.

Ms. Roman earned her LL.M., with merit, in European law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2011. She received her J.D. from the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2010, where she was an editor of the William & Mary Law Review and was a co-founder of William & Mary Women's Law Society. While in law school, Ms. Roman completed an externship with Judge Henry E. Hudson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She earned her A.B. with a double major in political science and French from Brown University in 2005. Ms. Roman is fluent in French.
