Brady R. Dewar is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability. Mr. Dewar focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, with specific experience in trade secret, unfair competition, and contractual disputes, class action litigation, and appellate advocacy.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Dewar was a law clerk for Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Mr. Dewar earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2007, where he was named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Mr. Dewar was senior editor for the UCLA Law Review. He also served as a judicial extern for Judge Denny Chin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and as a Morgan Lewis summer associate. As a summer associate, Mr. Dewar worked on various litigation and pro bono matters, including the successful representation of a Somali asylum-seeker before a U.S. immigration judge.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dewar was a public relations associate with The Corkery Group in New York City, where he advised clients in the public health and pharmaceuticals fields on communications and media strategies. Mr. Dewar earned his A.B., magna cum laude, in social studies from Harvard University in 2002.
