Francis M. Milone, chair of the firm, is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Milone has focused his practice on all aspects of labor and employment law litigation. He was manager of the Labor and Employment Law Section from 1995 to 1997, he served on the firm's Governing Board, and he was firm Managing Partner from January 1997 through September 1999.
Mr. Milone represents corporate clients in jury and nonjury trials involving claims arising in the employment context, including age, race, sex and handicap discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, defamation, and claims under collective bargaining agreements, as well as in complex ERISA and other employee benefits litigation.
Mr. Milone lectures frequently on a variety of labor and employment law issues, as well as on topics relating to law firm management.
Mr. Milone is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Supreme Court; the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth and Eleventh Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of Connecticut.
