Mona C. Zeiberg is Morgan Lewis's firm director of marketing. In this position, she is responsible for developing firmwide marketing programs to uphold and enhance Morgan Lewis's competitive position as a top-tier law firm. Ms. Zeiberg leads a team of more than 40 professionals across offices and works with firm and practice group management to oversee strategic initiatives related to marketing collateral, database management, and client events.
Ms. Zeiberg joined Morgan Lewis in 1997 as a practicing labor and employment law attorney. Her practice focused on counseling employers on issues arising under federal and state labor and employment statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. She regularly conducted workplace training on sexual harassment prevention and corporate diversity issues. In addition, she designed policies and procedures for employers regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Zeiberg was senior labor counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's public policy law firm, the National Chamber Litigation Center. During her tenure there, Ms. Zeiberg earned a national reputation for her authorship and submission of amicus curiae briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court and the various courts of appeals. She also became nationally known for advising companies on labor and employment law issues.
Ms. Zeiberg received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1986. Upon graduation from law school, she was a law clerk to Judge Glenn R. Lawrence at the U.S. Department of Labor. Ms. Zeiberg received her B.A. from American University in 1983.
