Zane David Memeger is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice and a member of the firm's Corporate Investigations and White Collar Practice. Mr. Memeger handles a wide variety of government investigations, internal investigations, and white collar matters, including major representations in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology industries. In addition to company representations, Mr. Memeger also represents individuals during all phases of governmental investigations and prosecutions.

Mr. Memeger began his association with the firm in 1991. He left the firm in 1995 to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this position, which he held for more than 11 years, Mr. Memeger investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of federal crimes, including government fraud, financial institution fraud, extortion, commercial bribery, and tax offenses; handled several high-profile RICO prosecutions; and was a prominent member of the Organized Crime Strike Force. Mr. Memeger received several commendations in early 2006 from Robert S. Muller, III, Director of the FBI, for his work in the investigation and prosecution of cases involving public corruption and Hobbs Act violations.

In May 2007, Mr. Memeger was a co-presenter at the Martindale-Hubbell Counsel to Counsel Conference titled "Where do we go from here? Managing Next Generation Corporate Compliance and Ethics Programs."

Mr. Memeger received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991, where he was the recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Public Service and a board member of the Post-Conviction Assistance Project. He received his B.S. in political science from James Madison University in 1986.

Mr. Memeger is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
