Ann G. Baker is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice and a member of the Private Investment Funds Practice. Ms. Baker focuses her practice on private equity and investment fund formation. She represents sponsors of and investors in a broad range of international private equity and other private investment funds, including leveraged buyout, venture capital, and real estate funds, as well as funds of funds. In particular, she advises European and U.S. fund sponsors on multijurisdictional offerings to a diverse international institutional investor base. Ms. Baker additionally advises investment managers and other financial institutions on regulatory issues that relate to fund raising and operational matters. She also has experience in general M&A, general corporate, and project finance matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Baker was an international counsel at a business law firm. While there, she lead the Paris office's private equity fund formation practice.

Ms. Baker is a frequent speaker at private equity conferences and events. She also participates in various committees of the French private equity association (Association Française des Investisseurs en Capital).

Ms. Baker received her J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School in 1981 and her B.A. in political science from Wellesley College in 1978. She is fluent in French and English.

Ms. Baker is admitted to practice in Paris and New York.
