Jami Wintz McKeon is the practice group leader of Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. She is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operation of the Litigation Practice across each of the firm's offices. Ms. McKeon has more than 25 years of experience in complex commercial cases, including business disputes, fraud litigation, class action cases, and internal investigations. She frequently represents clients in litigation arising from or related to business combinations, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures. Ms. McKeon has substantial experience in handling cases and counseling clients on litigation issues in the financial services and technology industries. She has handled cases on both the defense and plaintiffs’ side and has obtained sizeable verdicts in multiple cases, including obtaining a $25 million trial verdict for a plaintiff in a breach of contract and fraud case arising from the $2 billion purchase of a subprime mortgage platform. Ms. McKeon also handles complex bankruptcy litigation and has represented both debtors and creditors in major bankruptcy matters.

Ms. McKeon served two terms on the firm's Advisory Board and is a member of the firm's Compensation Committee. She has been honored in both 2008 and 2009 as one of the “Top Women Litigators” in California, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, and was recognized by The American Lawyer in the category of Best Lawyers - Commercial Litigation. Ms. McKeon is a frequent instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and other national and regional advocacy programs for beginning and experienced lawyers. She is also a frequent speaker in continuing legal education and other programs directed at attorneys and clients, and she is active in professional organizations and community affairs.

Ms. McKeon was a presenter at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual Conference on "Implementation and Management of Fixed Fee and Other Alternative Billing Arrangements" and has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal and other publications on the subject of alternative fee arrangements.

Ms. McKeon began her career at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia in 1981. She played an active role in the expansion of the firm's practice on the West Coast and relocated to California in 2004, where she continues her national practice.

Ms. McKeon is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal district courts and courts of appeal. She is a member of the bar in both California and Pennsylvania.
