Paul A. Richler is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Richler's practice focuses on complex litigation, including policyholder insurance recovery, insurance bad faith, and complex commercial disputes.
Mr. Richler is a seasoned trial lawyer and has served as lead counsel in numerous matters. He has tried bench and jury trials in state and federal courts. Mr. Richler served as lead trial and appellate counsel in the four-month trial of People of the State of California v. Alliance for Mature Americans, which led to the complete exoneration of defendant Fremont General Corporation. He has also argued numerous appeals in state and federal court.
In addition to Fremont General, Mr. Richler has represented a wide range of clients in significant litigation, including advising counsel representing plaintiffs' counsel in clergy abuse cases, Jefferies Group, Inc., Thorpe Insulation Company, Plant Insulation Company, Houghton International, Inc., Bombardier Capital Inc., textile giant Kellwood Company, Del Taco Inc., Hallador Petroleum Co., and Draney Information Systems.
Mr. Richler is active in professional organizations.
