Restituto E. Yuson, III

Of Counsel

Restituto "Rusty" E. Yuson, III, is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Global Outsourcing Practice. Mr. Yuson concentrates his practice on representing customers in complex commercial transactions, with an emphasis on global, long-term, information technology, and business process outsourcing arrangements. He has advised on the development of sourcing strategies, RFIs/RFPs and term sheets; the use of competitive bid procurement best practices; the preparation and negotiation of complex contract documents; and the provision of post-execution contract administration and interpretation.

In recent years, Mr. Yuson has worked on:

• a long-term, complex transformational business process and information technology sourcing transaction for a major insurance corporation;
• the development of form master agreements for product development and services for a major telecommunication provider;
• the creation of procurement policies, contract forms, and legal processes for a major products manufacturer;
• the renegotiation and business unit segregation of an existing full-scope outsourcing transaction for a leading pharmaceutical company;
• an applications development and maintenance services agreement for a significant component product manufacturer; and
• a multibillion-dollar, multinational, full-scope information technology outsourcing for a major financial institution.

Mr. Yuson earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Newark in 1995, where he served as an articles editor for the Rutgers Law Review and qualified for a position as a third-year teaching associate for the first-year legal research writing course. Prior to entering law school, he was an award-winning environmental planner, designer, and certified landscape architect and served as an adjunct professor for the Introduction to Environmental Design course at Rutgers. He earned his B.S. in environmental planning and design from Cook College at Rutgers University in 1989.

Mr. Yuson is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
