Mona C. Zeiberg is Morgan Lewis's firm director of marketing and practice development. In this position, she works with firm and practice group leadership to develop firmwide marketing and practice development initiatives. Ms. Zeiberg leads a team of marketing and practice development professionals across the firm's 24 offices that focuses on strategic practice development initiatives, including responding to requests for proposals, developing marketing collateral, and other aspects of client outreach.
Ms. Zeiberg joined Morgan Lewis in 1997 as a practicing labor and employment law attorney. Her practice focused on counseling employers on issues arising under federal and state labor and employment statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. She regularly conducted workplace training on sexual harassment prevention and corporate diversity issues. In addition, she designed policies and procedures for employers regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Zeiberg was senior labor counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's public policy law firm, the National Chamber Litigation Center. During her tenure with the Chamber, Ms. Zeiberg earned a national reputation for her authorship and submission of amicus curiae briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court and to the various federal and state courts of appeal. She also became nationally known for advising companies on labor and employment law issues.
Ms. Zeiberg received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1986. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk to Judge Glenn R. Lawrence at the U.S. Department of Labor. Ms. Zeiberg received her B.A. from American University in 1983.
