Chaka A. Keiller is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and partners recognized for professional excellence in The Best Lawyers in America.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Keiller was an associate in private practice with a predominant focus on advising and defending corporate clients in a wide variety of employment-related matters, including employment discrimination and litigation and arbitration under Title VII and other federal and state antidiscrimination and antiretaliation laws.
Ms. Keiller received her J.D., cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2006, where she served as an articles editor for the Michigan State Law Review and participated in the Trial Practice Institute. In 2006, she was awarded the Ralph M. Freeman Award for Scholastic Achievement. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Keiller worked as an information technology consultant. She received her B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1998.
Ms. Keiller is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Michigan and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
