Shane C. Siegel is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association and fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Siegel was an attorney in the labor and employment departments of a prominent national law firm and a regional law firm. She represented employers in cases involving claims brought under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, state antidiscrimination laws, and state tort law. She also counseled employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including employment agreements, employee discipline and termination, employee handbooks and employment policies, and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Ms. Siegel earned her J.D., cum laude, from Yeshiva University, Benjamin. N. Cardozo School of Law in 1998, where she was a member of the Cardozo Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Siegel was an intern for Judge Jerome Feller of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Siegel earned her B.A. in Judaic studies from the State University of New York at Albany in 1995.
Ms. Siegel is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
