Patrick J. Egan is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Securities Practice and is a member of the New York office’s Recruiting Committee. Mr. Egan’s practice focuses on public and private offerings, corporate governance, and securities regulation.

Mr. Egan has represented issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings and secondary offerings of securities under the Securities Act of 1933. He also regularly counsels issuers in connection with the preparation of and filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission of periodic reports under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Mr. Egan has counseled issuers, private equity funds, and placement agents in private equity and debt transactions. He also has advised placement agents and issuers with respect to offerings of securities pursuant to Regulation S and Rule 144A under the Securities Act.

Mr. Egan earned his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law in 2002, where he served as an article and notes editor of the St. John’s Law Review. He received his B.A. in political science, cum laude, from Boston College in 1995.

Mr. Egan is admitted to practice in New York.
