Jocelyn L. Womack is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Womack defends clients involved in complex employment litigation matters, including wage and hour collective action disputes for misclassification of workers, unpaid wages and overtime, meal and rest breaks, and other intricacies of the Fair Labor Standards Act. She also counsels clients regarding claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unfair competition, including claims under federal and state laws, such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law. Her practice also includes assisting employers in the protection of trade secrets and the enforcement of employment, noncompetition, arbitration and confidentiality agreements.

Ms. Womack has worked on employment matters involving industries ranging from retail stores, pharmaceutical sales, food service, and technology/network administration.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Womack clerked for Judge Petrese B. Tucker of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Womack earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2007, where she also served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Labor and Employment Law. She obtained an M.A. from Columbia University in 2002 and a B.A. from Wake Forest University in 2000, where she studied for a year under Dr. Maya Angelou.

Ms. Womack is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
