Kimberly Cuff Hicks is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Hicks represents clients in white collar litigation matters, including federal and state cases alleging healthcare fraud, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and violations of the False Claims Act. She has experience conducting internal corporate investigations and advising clients on compliance matters. In addition, Ms. Hicks has experience with securities regulation and litigation matters, including the representation of residential mortgage-backed securitization trustees and banking organizations, and the representation of individuals in civil securities fraud litigation.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Hicks participated in the firm's Public Interest Fellowship Program, where she served as a Special Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, Ms. Hicks tried criminal cases and presented evidentiary and sentencing arguments.
Ms. Hicks earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2009 where she served as the administrative editor for the American Criminal Law Review and was awarded the CALI Excellence Award in Securities Litigation. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in international relations, with a minor in French, from Boston University, where she graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences, Honors Program, in 2006.
Ms. Hicks is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
