Laura Remington is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice with a focus on insurance recovery. Ms. Remington has been representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage matters since 1983. Her practice involves the litigation of complex insurance coverage disputes against multiple defendant insurers, often with many decades of insurance policies at issue. Representative litigation matters include insurance coverage for product liability claims, including claims for asbestos-related bodily injury and property damage, and coverage for environmental clean-up.

In addition, Ms. Remington has represented corporate and individual policyholders seeking coverage under various types of insurance policies, including D&O, property, workers compensation and employer liability, and general liability policies, for a variety of substantive claims, including claims arising from alleged trade secret violations, business torts, product liability, and intellectual property disputes. In many instances, these disputes have been resolved favorably without the need for litigation.

Ms. Remington’s practice has also included work in general commercial litigation, including the areas of antitrust, business tort claims, class action litigation, and lender liability disputes. Her court background includes extensive law and motion practice, participation in trials of insurance recovery disputes, and appellate argument.
