Kate J. Moll-Taylor is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Moll-Taylor participated in the firm's Public Interest Fellowship Program, where she worked in the legal affairs department of The Pew Charitable Trusts, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Philadelphia that applies a rigorous, analytical approach to improve public policy, inform the public, and stimulate civic life.
Ms. Moll-Taylor earned her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2010, where she was a member of the Temple Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Moll-Taylor worked as an intern for Judge Jean K. FitzSimon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she received the Henry J. Richardson, III Award for the best paper in the field of international human rights and the Catherine Donahue Memorial Award for the highest grade in trusts and estates.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Moll-Taylor, a certified public accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, worked as a senior associate in the audit group at KPMG in Philadelphia. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in accounting from George Washington University in 2003.
Ms. Moll-Taylor is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
