Marlee S. Myers is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities, Emerging Growth Company and Technology Practices. Ms. Myers is the managing partner of the firm's office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the co-chair of its Technology Practice. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, initial and follow-on public offerings, corporate governance, securities compliance, venture finance, strategic alliances, international business transactions and general corporate counseling.
Ms. Myers represents major publicly traded domestic and foreign companies with subsidiaries worldwide and emerging companies in growth industries such as information technology, e-commerce, computer networking, and life sciences. She speaks regularly on a variety of topics, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, leadership, venture finance, public offerings, strategic alliances, and international business transactions.
Ms. Myers is an avid supporter of Western Pennsylvania. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's College of Arts and Sciences and its School of Law (where she was first in her class), Ms. Myers serves on the Board of Trustees of the University and as a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Ms. Myers has been recognized by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as one of Pittsburgh's Top 50 Business Leaders and was twice selected as an ATHENA Award Finalist by the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce. She was named as one of Pennsylvania's Top 50 Women in Business by former Governor Tom Ridge. She is also active in many community organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Technology Council and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, which she co-founded.
