Kavitha B. Cherukuri is a patent agent in Morgan Lewis’s Intellectual Property Practice. Ms. Cherukuri’s practice focuses on patent prosecution in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical arts.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Cherukuri was a bioinformatician at Human Genome Sciences, where she was responsible for developing applications in the areas of microarray gene expression, gene promoter, and DNA sequence analysis.

Ms. Cherukuri received her M.S. in computational molecular biology from the University of Southern California in 2001. She received her M.S. in plant sciences from the University of Hyderabad, India in 1999 and her B.S., with a dual major in biology and chemistry, from Osmania University, India in 1997.

Ms. Cherukuri is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
