Justin S. Brooks is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Brooks represents employers in a broad array of labor and employment law matters. He has litigated employment discrimination class actions, ERISA matters, unfair competition and trade secrets cases, wage and hour class and collective actions, and single-plaintiff discrimination and harassment cases.
Mr. Brooks joined Morgan Lewis after serving as law clerk to Judge Suzanne B. Conlon of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to his clerkship, he was an associate in the New York office of a prominent international law firm, where he focused on complex commercial, copyright, and trademark litigation.
Mr. Brooks earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2008, where he received various honors and awards for his academic achievements and served as an editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. During the summer of 2006, he served as a judicial intern to Judge John. E. Sprizzo of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Brooks earned his B.A. in psychology from Emory University in 2005, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.Mr. Brooks is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
