Louis A. Ballezzi is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Ballezzi clerked for Judge William H. Yohn, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Ballezzi received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2008, where he served as a senior editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge David R. Strawbridge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Ballezzi received his M.Phil. in bioscience enterprise from the University of Cambridge in 2004, where he was a Gates Scholar, and received his A.B., cum laude, in molecular biology from Princeton University in 2003, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Ballezzi is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
