Matthew A. Verga

Matthew A. Verga is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Energy Practice. Mr. Verga represents clients  in a variety of regulatory, compliance, corporate, and litigation matters, including electric utilities and other clients in the oil and natural gas and electric industries. His practice includes advising on regulatory compliance and enforcement issues, employment discrimination, and related matters, as well as representation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), other agencies, and federal and state courts.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Verga served as a law clerk to Judges William Colwell and Daniel Solomon in the Office of Administrative Law Judges for the U.S. Department of Labor.

Mr. Verga received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005 and his B.A., cum laude and with honors in communication, from Wake Forest University in 2001.

Mr. Verga is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
