Matthew S. Weiler is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Weiler focuses his practice on complex commercial litigations. He has a background in many substantive practice areas, including tax litigation, investment fraud, antitrust, healthcare, creditors' rights, corporate ownership and control, sports law, and white collar investigations. He has appeared before several California courts representing an international bank in connection with a national litigation and has worked on litigations relating to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Weiler practiced in the Los Angeles office of a prominent New York–based law firm.

Mr. Weiler received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004. He received his B.A., with highest distinction, in economics from the University of Michigan in 2001, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a James B. Angell Scholar.

Mr. Weiler is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Central Districts of California.
