Gargi Talukder, Ph.D.

Gargi Talukder, Ph.D., is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Her practice focuses on developing and implementing patent strategies, such as patent prosecution and counseling, due diligence, and litigation support, primarily in the life sciences areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Talukder has published a number of scientific papers in peer reviewed publications and was a 1996 recipient of a National Science Foundation Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship. She has presented her research at scientific conferences for the Society of Neuroscience and the Biophysical Society. Dr. Talukder is also the author of articles on subjects related to medical and biological research that have been published in a wide variety of general interest newspapers and periodicals.

Dr. Talukder earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2005, her Ph.D. in neuroscience from Stanford University in 2001, and her B.S. in biological chemistry from the University of Chicago in 1995.

Dr. Talukder is admitted to practice in California.
