Joseph Song

Associate

Joseph Song is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Song focuses his practice on patent litigation. His experience covers a variety of technologies, including computer software and hardware, semiconductors, memories, and medical devices.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Song was an associate at an international litigation firm, where he focused his practice on patent litigation.

Mr. Song received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005, where he served as a judicial extern to Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Song worked for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory performing research to determine the structure of the cytochrome bc1 complex protein. Mr. Song earned his B.A. in molecular and cell biology, with a concentration on cell and developmental biology, from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998.

Mr. Song is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
