Henry Liu is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Real Estate Practice. His practice includes real estate transactions and related areas including the leasing, financing, development, and disposition of commercial and retail properties. Mr. Liu also has extensive experience in the areas of low-income housing and economic development.

Mr. Liu focuses on the representation of lenders in the origination and sale of loans under Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and private mortgage conduit multifamily and commercial programs. He also represents lenders in the origination of multifamily affordable housing loans funded through the issuance of fixed rate and variable rate tax-exempt bonds under various Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily bond credit enhancement programs.

Mr. Liu received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 1997, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as notes editor on The George Washington Journal of International Law and Economics. He received his B.S. in finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business in 1994. He possesses a conversational level of Chinese.

Mr. Liu is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
