David Patariu is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices. Mr. Patariu focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation covering a variety of software, electrical, chemical, and pharmaceutical technologies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Patariu was an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice of an international law firm.
Mr. Patariu earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2009. During law school, Mr. Patariu worked as a judicial extern to Judge Amy J. St. Eve of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and was senior editor of the International Law Review. He earned his M.S. in biomedical informatics from Stanford University School of Medicine and a graduate certificate in international security from Stanford University, Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies in 2006. He also earned a graduate certificate in bioinformatics from Stanford University School of Engineering in 2002. Mr. Patariu earned his M.Eng. in computer science from Cornell University Graduate School in 1999 and his B.A. in biology, with a concentration in biochemistry from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences in 1994.
