Asma T. Uddin is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Uddin practiced corporate real estate at a national firm in Miami. Her community activities include serving as associate editor and legal columnist for Islamica Magazine and as an editor for A Muslim in Victorian America, published by Oxford University Press in 2006.
Ms. Uddin received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2005, where she participated in The University of Chicago Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Uddin interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in English, religious studies, and biology from the University of Miami in 2002, where she was the student vice president of Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Uddin also received the Wilson Prize for most outstanding student in the Humanities and the award for most outstanding student in the College of Arts and Sciences. She received first place for her analytical essay at the Florida Collegiate Honors Council Conference. Ms. Uddin is fluent in Urdu and English.
Ms. Uddin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida.
