George A. Cumming is senior counsel in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. He concentrates his practice on complex litigation across a wide range of substantive areas including antitrust, intellectual property, and financial services litigation.
Mr. Cumming is an experienced trial lawyer and has successfully taken many cases to verdict. From 1996 to 1998, he served as Special Trial Counsel in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, where he led a number of major antitrust investigations conducted by the Division.
Mr. Cumming has extensive appellate experience and has briefed and argued before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Ninth, and Federal Circuits, the Supreme Court of California, and the California Courts of Appeal. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Cumming also served as Special Trial Counsel in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he led a number of antitrust investigations conducted by the Division.
Mr. Cumming is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Cumming is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
