Scott M. Berning is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Berning focuses his practice on private venture financings, including both debt and equity offerings, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, secondary offerings of private equity fund interests, and general business and corporate matters for private and public companies in various stages of growth. His general corporate representation primarily involves entrepreneurial, startup, and emerging growth technology companies.

Mr. Berning received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2007, where he was named to the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. in history from Columbia University in 2000.
