Daniel F. Carmody

Associate

Daniel Carmody is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Tax Practice. He focuses his practice on transactional tax planning for matters involving a broad range of federal tax issues.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Carmody served as a senior counsel with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service. While with the Service, he concentrated primarily on the taxation of partnerships and S corporations. 

Mr. Carmody earned his LL.M. from Villanova University School of Law in 1997 and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1996. He earned his B.A. from Loyola College of Maryland in 1993.

Mr. Carmody is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
