Stefan Fandel is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Fandel advises employers on collective and individual employment law issues and in corresponding areas such as social security. His practice focuses on restructurings, transfers of undertaking, work council relations, employment contracts, and benefits. Mr. Fandel has an extensive background in labor and employment issues in connection with company transformations. He represents clients in labor and civil courts against individual employees and works councils.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Fandel was an associate in a leading German law firm, focusing on labor and employment law. He also worked as a graduate assistant at the Institute for Employment and Social Security Law at the Universität Bonn.
Mr. Fandel qualified as a Certified Employment Law Specialist (Fachanwalt) at Düsseldorf, Germany in 2007. He earned his DR.JUR. from the Universität Bonn in 2003 and passed his second state examination at Bonn in 2003. Mr. Fandel passed his first state examination at the Universität Bonn in 2001. He is fluent in German and English.
